Time to Bake a Batch of Cookies ~ The Biggest Loser is on Tonight!

For some reason whenever "The Biggest Loser" is on television I want to bake. Tonight it is cookies. Hubby mentioned that he would like some cookies. Because I am too frugal to buy cookies I bake them. Also the flavor is better too and you decide what you want to put in them. So, I am outta here for now. Time for "The Biggest Loser", aka my inspiration to bake.

That is funny, i tend to like to bake when i'm watching biggest loser too. But I have started changing some of the things I bake. Like i now make cookies out of the diabetic cookbook. Less sugar, and less calories. i also either work out or fold clothes during the commercials. I DVR the show though because i rarely have time to sit in front of the tv. Plus it gives me more time to prepare for the goodies i want to make. I have an awesome recipe for chocolate cookies :) yumm!!

Kind of having the opposite affect, isn't it? Home baked cookies do taste better but for that reason alone, they don't last very long. I would say a batch of cookies will last in this house of 4 from 24-48 hours tops. They just get gobbled up.

When my kids and grandchildren come over for a visit I like to have homemade goodies for them.

Oh great, now I want homemade cookies. It got cold again today and cookies sound like a good way to warm up the house. But of course, I am out of flour. Maybe you could send me some.LOL

OK, although I don't watch The Biggest Loser, this really doesn't sound right to me... I have seen a few episodes, and it does look like a really good show, but don't you think it's a bit ODD to eat fattening foods while watching it??? That's kinda strange... But, I have been in the mood for something baked lately and I just don't know what it is. I'm like you too, it's cheaper to make it yourself than to buy it. I wanted brownies the other day and had to make a batch. I was so glad I had enough engredients! I'm probably going to make a cake soon, I really "NEED" one...

That's funny. I don't like the show myself but I will take some cookies! I don't buy cookies either. So what kind are you making? Chocolate chip, Oatmeal raisin or some other creation? I'm not picky just send them on over!

Some may say it's odd that you feel like baking when 'The Biggest Loser' is on but I can understand because I don't bake but when this particular show is on I want to eat! There is a psychological explanation I'm sure and I'm not entirely sure I want to hear it. I love freshly baked, 'just out of the oven' cookies, Yum! I've never made any. The extent of my baking was buying frozen cookie doe from the supermarket and shoving it in the oven! I bet you enjoyed those cookies!

Thats funny, is a good thing they can't see in your tv. That would be heartbreaking to them, to see you eating homemade cookies. What kind of cookies did you end up making? Fresh homemade cookies sound good, I just might have to get out in that kitchen and rattle some pots and pans.

I love home made cookies. Store bought just do not compare. It is funny that you want to bake because of Biggest Loser. My sister in law wants to make spaghetti when we visit, because my husband cannot even stand to smell the pasta cooking.

When I watch the Biggest Loser I want to eat. Especially since they had that temptation challenge and there were donuts and cupcakes. I often find myself munching on anything I can find when the show is on. If Bob and Jillian only knew!

That is kind of odd though I don't see anything wrong with it. Your watching a show about people losing weight, doesn't mean you've gotta stop eating cookies. The day one of the contestants reaches through the screen to get one of your cookies is the day that (hopefully) your a rich woman, lol. It's odd though, that above thought of mine made me also think of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The one that has Johnny Depp I think that was the Remake? In any case, there's a part where they've invented a machine where people can go into the t.v., and Johnny Depp reached through the screen. I can't remember the name of his character but he was the creator of the Chocolate factory. Willy Wonka? Sorry to have gone off topic!
