Does your debit card have a rewards program?

Mine does and though it may take me forever to wrack up points it's nice to know eventually I will get a little something back for using it. I am possibly shooting for the range of points that give me $50-100 for a deposit into a savings account. Plus, they have gift cards for shopping and restaurants. How about yours?

My debit card has a rewards program. I agree with you though, it will take forever to rack up any great amount of points! I find that with my checking account I usually either write checks or order online with my card. I have to actually swipe my debit card in order to earn points on that purchase. This discussion reminds me that I should check and see how many points I've racked up, up to date. My bank offers gift card and gift type rewards. I'm hoping to earn a gift card because I don't see myself spending 20,000$ on my debit card anytime soon to earn a big gift, lol.

Very true. I am about fifty fifty on my check/debit use. I wish I got point for Pay at the Pump at gas stations I would rack in those points for sure. Mine used to have where you could use your points for boxes of checks...well I always wait to the last minute and when I went online to check it out they stopped issuing those....now they do cash certificates, etc.

We don't have a points program. I get 10 cents every time I swipe my card and I get free ATM every where.

That is a pretty good deal I must say. too bad I have no such reward with my current bank. The only thing great about my account is their is no balance required on my account. I can have 1,000 or I can have 1 cent does not matter. Which let me tell you I love that no comminment. Take care :)

My debit card doesn't have a rewards program, but my credit card does. So I use it to pay for everything I can, from food to my telephone, cable, and Internet bills. Since I spend so much on the card, the reward points accumulate at a good pace. Of course, I pay off my card in full each month, or else the interest I'd have to pay would cancel out the points I was earning.

No, I don't think so but I've never asked.

Wow a debit card with rewards that sounds great. I had a card through a bank that had something like that as well. I lost that account and I was kinda of sad about that. I guess I need to be on the lookout for another place such as that. Thanks for letting us know and happy mylotting to you.

I honestly had no idea a debit card could have a rewards program. How did you get into the program? Is it only useable by a certain bank? LOL sorry for flooding you with questions, but wow i am a little excited lol. I use my debit card for pretty much everything. The only thing my debit card is hooked up to is my upromise account. Hope you dont mind sharing :)

Contact your bank. Mine is 5/3 and they have a MC rewards program. I earn (I think) $1 for every $3 I use my card as credit instead of debit. I like using the credit better anyhow cause I am not much on using my pin in public. It's nice to know they are working for me, but I also know it encourages people to spend more. So ask your bank about it. If they don't now they might in the future.
