My doctor says I need more surgery...

I've been out of commission the last couple days with a sinus/bronchial infection that feels like it's taken over my entire body. I went to the doctor to get some antibiotics, and this time was a bit different than other visits. I'm prone to sinus infections, as I've had a deviated septum (slight broken nose) my whole life. The infections are becoming worse and worse, and my doctor has suggested I get the deviated septum corrected, as well as get my adenoids and tonsils removed, to help stop me from getting sick so badly so often. This is a huge relief, as I've been considering this kind of procedure for years, to get rid of these awful bouts of sickness, and I've had several much more major surgeries to other parts of my body in the past; but still, now that I may have to go under the knife again, I'm getting a bit nervous. Has anyone had this kind of procedure done before? I know it's pretty standard and not much downtime, but something about having surgery on my face is unsettling...

Hi Theweerouss.seems you worried too much about the surgery,in my point of view,if the doctor suggested you to have more surgery, then you should listen to him and think it seriously, anyway, health is the most important thing in our life,if more surgery could make you recovered from the infection, then you should just do it.it is not that scaring and you just take it easy
