What will you do to get a good picture?

Beautiful trees - Snow covered trees in Wisconsin

The other day I was traveling from my friends home in Wisconsin to my home here in Minnesota. We woke up to snow....and the trees were unbelievably beautiful....I didn't want to miss the picture so stopped right in the middle of the road...after checking for other traffic of course...and took the picture from the middle of the highway. Do you do silly things to get a good picture? What was the last thing you photographed that was something you felt you just couldn't miss?

I'm not a good photographer. But I would like to be one. The last picture I shot was ages ago, and it was the work of an amateur. I'm slowly learning how to take angles of pictures and determine the good angles. The silly thing I photographed was that of stones/pebbles..lol...have a blessed holy week and happy easter in advance.

yeah, i agree with you! i do the same thing to take a picture. last week, i took my family to go for a trip, and there are rape flowers all around, they are so beauriful that i stoped my car on the right side of the highway and take pictures.

How pretty. Doubt that I would stop in the middle of the highway to take a photo. Not in Missouri..lol I could be a big splat on the side of the highway in less than 5 minutes. I won't necessarily go out of my way to take a photo. Two weeks ago we were coming home from our daughter's house, about 15 miles from us, and the sunset was just gorgeous. And wouldn't you know that I didn't have my camera with me. My husband wouldn't have pulled over anyway in order for me to get a good shot of the sky.

Most important is that you didn't get hurt.

I've sat outside on the ground in the middle of the night in the winter for hours and hours just to get a photo! And I loved every minute of it! I don't know about you, but I get such an adrenaline rush while I'm taking pictures. It makes it much easier to do crazy things to get a good shot!

Just close on the thing which you want to capture by camera. Because this thing gives more important to this thing. It is the way o good photography as well.

Well, the last pic. I took was in june almost a year ago. Was at my son's graduation. I was in a crowd of about 1000 people or more and I got a pic. of my roommate standing up on one of the collage pillars like looking for me and my son. It was the best pic. The graduation took place at the UofM and it was really crowded there was three gaduating classes there. You have a great day.
