Is Febreze in EVERYTHING???

United States

So, Febreze smells nice. It started as like some type of fabric refresher if I am correct. These days, it seems it is in almost EVERYTHING, from carpet cleaners to laundry detergents, to air fresheners, to shower cleaners... SO, what is Febreze exactly anyway? Is it just some patented fragrance, or is there more to it? DO you find it funny at all how it has crept up ALL over the place in all sorts of different products?

I recently bought Febreze (and it is very expensive here in the Philippines). I love the scent but I hope it does not function only to make my stuff smell good. It sort of have an anti bacterial effect too.

The Febreeze fabric spray works well on my sofa. It gets rid of any odors. It is especially helpful if one of your guests is a smoker. Their clothes usually reek of it, even if they aren't smoking in my apartment at all.

LOL Yeah seems like it -- baking soda WAS in lots of stuff! I forgot about that. I still use baking soda -- it's cheaper!

no I don't find it funny it is a company that is trying to make money but selling a deodorizer in any available way that they can. I like fabreeze, it does the job, takes odors out, important when you have smokers or animals in the house like I do.

Febreeze is a great product. But when it is used in Tide, it is too much for me. I lie on my sheets on my bed and my allergies go bananas.

ya febreze is nuts. my parents use it like it is out of style or something. it does smell good and everything, but too much does give me a headache. but if a room really does smell, it is great to freshen up the place.

Febreze - Febreze® sprays, candles and scented oil warmers eliminates odors from air and fabrics
in your home and car.
Hello my friend Bethany1202 Ji, I find something interesting from the web, you may like following information: "Febreze is a brand of household odor eliminator manufactured by Procter & Gamble, sold in North America, Asia and Europe. [1] First introduced in test markets in 1996, the product has been sold in the United States since June 1998, and the line has since branched out to include air fresheners (Air Effects), fabric refreshers, plug-in oils (NOTICEables), scented disks (Scentstories), and odor eliminating candles." May God bless you and have a great time.
