Sometimes I think I get too much sleep...

On average I probably get between 6-7 hours of sleep each night. Sometimes I get an extra hour or two and seem even sleepier the next day... Other times I get less sleep and seem to have just as much energy as I do compared to my normal 6-7 hours.
Does this ever happen to you? Isn't it funny how our bodies can fall into routines and respond the opposite way we anticipate sometimes?

yes it is funny, but that is the way the body is, if you sleep too much you will feel tired if you don't sleep enough you will get tired also. It is really hard to regular, but if you know you sleep 6-7 hours normally try to stick to that if you can.
I have irregular sleeping patterns since I got sick I used to sleep 10 hours every night that was what was normal for me.

ya, you described what happens to me a lot of times. i will get less sleep than i normally get (6 hours), and as long as i have my coffee, i am pretty much wide awake for the rest of the day. then if i sleep like 8-9 hours, im exhausted the rest of the day haha.

Hey, Bethany1202! Yes, it is funny how I body responds. I know that I will get about 7 hours of sleep. Somtimes less than that. Or I can only get up to 6 hours of sleep in a day. My kids stay up half of the day, so that means that I will have to be up with them. I know if sleep for a very long time, or lay in the bed to nap, I will be lazy and weary.

I hate sleep so a few hours is enough for me, but alas, my body makes me sleep to catch up.

Most of the time I get around 8 hours of sleep but there have been times since I have been out of work that I can sleep for 10 hours. When I get up on these days It seems like I feel more tired and feel like I could go right back to bed and sleep some more. I think your body is trying to catch up on rest.

I have the most energy when I get 6-8 hours of sleep, although I can easily sleep for 10-12 hours. If I do slee pfor 10-12 hours I usually feel foggy and exhausted the next day from oversleeping. And on top of all of that I usually have an achy back!
