REcently, there is a website that provide personal home page called FAcebook in my country. Actually, it is not new, but is kind of popular nowadays. I used to have friendster account, but it seems like most of my friends are using Facebook now, so I have to move, too, even though Facebook is kind of more complicated than Friendster. Do you guys use Friendster? or Facebook? I want to know the reason why you choose one of the sites... Thanks

Huh, I tried to stay, but you know, it seems like my activities in Friendster is now reducing. I only use it to update my blog. and fortunately, I can import my blog to Facebook so that I don't have to write it twice...

I've honestly never heard of Friendster. I am a member of Facebook though and I love it. Facebook gives me the opportunity to keep in touch with people I probably wouldn't normally keep in touch with or wouldn't have as much time to keep in touch with, in other ways. My sister for example is in college. It's really easy to pop online and say hello to her on Facebook or ask her a question there if I need to. Facebook has also helped me keep in touch with a lot of friends from high school and college since I've moved away. I also like the fun applications that they have on their site. Overall I think Facebook is one of my favorite sites to visit each day. Now if only it paid......hahaha.

I have account on both sites but I use Friendster the most. Most of my friends are there. Besides, I think Facebook is not so user-friendly.

I actually never used Friendster but before Facebook I did use Myspace. It was the thing to do in high school and once I got accepted into college thats when the transition for me to Facebook took place. At that point Facebook was more geared towards college students because of the networking available and it wasn't a place where a ton of "preteens" were joining. Overall I actually enjoy Facebook even though they've gone through so much plastic surgery with the site layout. Its where all my friends are without having to deal with annoying profiles that include a ridiculous amount of photos or music.
