Is Christmas widely celebrated in Msia? Here in Singapore, maybe because of the hot weather, I find the atmosphere & Christmas-sy feeling somewhat lacking...
What hubby & I did for the last couple of years was to get away to somewhere cooler, so Hong Kong is the cheapest & coolest destination from Singapore. Then we would stroll down the terribly crowded streets of Hong Kong and end at the Victoria Harbour. It feels really nice! :)

that's sweet. i was hoping for something that's cheaper than that lol. my bf will have to go back to sg to get his passport chopped (he's a singaporean and can be here in msia max 1 mth) so probably we might go down to singapore together. but i was hoping for some 'free' or cheap activities that's romantic that we can do over the holiday.

Hmmm... Not sure about you, but I would feel very 'un-romantic' if I were to get all hot & sweaty squashing around the crowd in town! If your bf lives alone in Singapore, think it'll be nice to be holed up at home for a nice cozy dinner. no need for anything elaborate, just a nice, simple meal. Else, how about going to the beach? I always have this fantasy that having a cheeseburger and coke with my loved one on the beach at night is a really romantic thing to do! Though I would be the last idea of 'romantic' for many people out there!! haha...

Well, I can't imagine how you are celebrating christmas at the beach. You are lucky. Rent a movie about how people celebrate christmas in Greece and enjoy. You will laugh, I promise.

AWwwwwww thats great, glad he is coming home to see you.
I think just spending that time with each other is romantic.. Maybe an indoor picnic by the fireplace.. Don't forget the chocolate covered Strawberries.. you can do that yourself with out spending a fortune.. Hope you have fun.. Enjoy.. take care and God bless.. Merry Christmas

Hi there Eunice
If you have nice Weather and a Beach available then I could think of nothing nicer then to take a nice long walk along the Beach with the one I love
If your Weather is not nice then I suggest snuggle up on the Settee together with your Christmas lights on and watch a soppy Movie lol ok if you don't like them Soppy then a Movie that you would both enjoy
I hope you have a great time, Sweetie
Hugs to you

I am happy that your boyfriend will visit you for Christmas but I am a bit surprise about your question. Usually Christmas is not a romantic time (obviously in my opinion) but much more a family time. In Europe we spend Christmas with family and New Year Eve with firneds, boyfriends and girlfriends. It doesn't mean that it cannot be romantic and I am sure it will be very romantic for you and your boyfriend. It's just to explain that I have a different point of view and I have no idea about romantic things to do during Christmas!

you are right..but as my family dont celebrate christmas at all (as they are from different religion) that's why i would like to celebrate it with my bf..although christmas is a day to remember Jesus Birthday...somehow, i feel that it's very romantic :D

Have you introduced him already to your family? A good candle light dinner cooked by you would be romantic, you don't have to go in a fancy restaurant to have a romantic dinner. Stroll along the beach holding hands and watch the beautiful sunset, and as the sun sets, tell him how much you love him.
I don't know if that's romantic to you, hehe, well I guess I'm not that romantic.
Merry Christmas.

why don't you book yourselves in a special place in msia, outside the place you're currently in, somewhere close but different. a new environment for you and him would be cool! i know you got lots of beautiful spots there where you can spend an exclusive, relaxing, romantic christmas. go try one!

What about having a nice dinner together? Or watching a movie together if you have any on dvd or rent movies from a store? Maybe listen to music together and dance. Play some games together whether board games or computer games. Go for a nice walk together or go window shopping. Hope that these will help you. :-)

How about going ice-skating or something cute and holiday-ish like that? I'd say buy a small gift and give it to him at dinner. Dinner can be something you make. Your gift can even be something cute like Christmas decorated cookies. It's inexpensive and thoughtful and he'll know you put time into it.

Driving around together looking at the lights, maybe make him a nice dinner, and depending on how far along your relationship is, surprise him wearing a sexy outfit and more depending on the situation.

Go window shopping and hold hands while you're walking. Have a nice lunch, share a coke, cherish the time you're spending together. Another thought -- you could get your picture taken together at some little, inexpensive place so that you'll always have a memory of this special time.
