How long is to long to date and not get married?

Well i was just wonder what everyone thaught about dating, and how long is to long to date and not get married. Does it start to mess up the relationship if you date for to long and dont get married..?

I think that if you are happy with being in a committed relationship you can go forever and not get married. Look at Gene Simmons and his girl friend. They have been together 20+ years and have a family together and they aren't married. I thinkyou should do what makes YOU happy and not worry about what others think is right or wrong.
