My wife was certainly smarter than me. She chose me but I chose her. As Margajoe already said "behind every great man is a great woman". Remember when you look back at inventors etc and see they were mostly men does not give a true indication of intelligence differences between the sexes. Men were educated and had the opportunity to study and experiment. Women were expected to stay at home, cook, clean and watch the kids. Alexander Graham Bell the Scotsman who is best known for inventing the telephone was a chaotic character and his successes are mainly due to his loving deaf American wife who organised and advised him. In many ways women see things differently from men and I, for one, respect their views. Sometimes we find them difficult to understand and they seem occasionally to lack logic but then none of us are the same as any other. The world is gradually changing and women are playing a greater role in business and politics. If Muslim women had a greater influence in their countries it would, I think, benefit the whole world. I quite like Obama but would have preferred to see Hilary Clinton becoming the first female US president. That would have been a significant strengthening of womens place in the modern world.
