My one cousin had a penfriend in Germany.Their friendship turned into love.My brother migrated to Germany and married that lady.My brother died there and laid in rest that country. They had two children.I have mentioned this to make you understand that in penfriendship there was emotional touch. The media of penfriendship was writing letters. In a letter a person can express his or her emotion in full. Now a days online culture has developed .Now boys and girls or between same gender make online friendship.I think now that emotion is absent.Human has become mechanized. They do all things very quickly.
Science gave us speed but stole our emotion.Do you think so?

That's a really sweet story about your cousin.
Personally, I don't see writing emails as any different than writing letters. They can still be heartfelt and interesting. And there are people who meet and fall in love over the internet these days.
I think email has been a blessing, its more convenient than regular mail, cheaper, and quicker. It makes it easier to keep up with frends and to make new friendships. So I don't think we've lost anything by going to email, I think its a blessing.

I don't think either opinions is right or wrong. Its' just an opinion. Different people see things in different ways, and if everyone felt the same way about things, the world would be boring. Perhaps more peaceful, but boring all the same.

yes, there is no absolute right and wrong, it depends on different situations and considerations. the best one is the most suitable one.

I sometimes miss the days when I was exchanging lots of letters with my snail mail penfriends, now I usually write an email instead. Handwritten letters are a lot more personal than emails, but today many people choose to write emails instead because it is faster and easier. It is still possible to find love through emails though. I know that from experience because my fiance and I met eachother online, and we started by exchanging emails. After a while we met, we became a couple and in a month we are getting married.

My dear friend, changing situation have changed our habits. This is natural. But the emotion of love can't be compared. In old days there were little chance to talk among the boys and girls. Then some time a boy fall in love with a girl to see her cloths in the balcony.

there is a saying "more haste less speed", especially for the emotion, i acknowledge the existence of “fall in love at first sight" but for most of us it need time and erperience to acquaint with each other, then it is possible to fall in love eventually.
so i consider at least most of the online love are reliable. science gives us speed but the letter typed by the keyboard contains less heartfelt emotion compared with the one comes from your hand.

Yes , i agree this idea .
In the writing paper we can feel one person's emotional by watching his or her handwrithing ,but online letters or emails are just the same styles which had been setted in the computer .They are plain and none emotional in the "writing character" in fact there is no hand writing .
Another important ,the handwriting letter can be reserved for as long as we want ,sometime we can read it again and again and feel the emotion in it ,but the online letter is just kept to be read or sometime we even don't keep it .

Dear person's handwriting is very precious to somebody. They preserve it as diamond.
Those who have no imotion they will not be able to understand it.Human is becoming
robo.May be in future there will be no novel,no poem or no story writing. There will be only I T.

There ,the handing writing letter is not only write the lovers but the relational or family members (ofcourse the mates are family members too)
just think if somebody leave us for ever ,the handing writing letter may be the better conservation than the email ,it is as vivid as before .
My major is commuincation study ,and which include the post and the telegraphic ,one of my tutors said that his father ask him to write home usually ,but he didn't obedient that ,and now when he reads his father's letter he can thought a lot .
My tutor told us to write letter in handwriting not just phoning or write email .

In overall percentage, yes I agree with you. However, you can't deny the fact that there are online dating in today's society, and these relationships become marriage after time. I agree with how there are less thinking and emotions involved in cyberspace conversations than writing letter, however there are still some involved.

I have to disagree with you on this. A penfriend and a online friend are doing the same thing. They are communicating. The only difference is that one is faster than the other. You can express your emotions with a online friend just like in a penfriend. To me there is no difference. You are mechanized only if you allow yourself to be. I use the computer to keep in touch with my friends and there still is emotion in my emails that are sent.

I don't think anything can steal our emotions. They will all be there when needed.
The internet makes these correspondences between boys and girl more like games than like real life. When they need to become emotionally involved I think they will find a way.

Hello bhanusb! My husband and I met online. We started by sending emails to each other then we wrote through handwriting letters from time to time. Honestly, the feelings of reading emails and handwritten letter is different. I guess maybe because I can feel much the sincerity of the person when you know that he spend time and effort in expressing his emotion to you.

well,Brevity is the soul of wit.It is science that makes the soldier get touch with
their relatives as fast as possible.Supposed communications-equipment were never
existed, should we communicate with others in a short time. Thus, science has become
a stimulus to promote our emotion. That is the undoubtful truth we can not
deny, albeit we have not to accept that the fleeting development of science also
deprive the communications between our hearts.
So science has enhanced the exchange of our emotion. We can not leave out this
point

Hello Bhanusb, i agreed on you that nowadays human has become mechanized, we lie on the computer so much that we almost forgot how to write in hand! I have a good memories of my penfriends, i used to have 6 penfriends from all over China, we wrote and post the letter and waiting for the reply with excitement, when we finally received the reply, we were so happy, those letters had brighten my days. Although i lost contact with them now, but i still keep this letters with me.
Thanks for sharing the touch story with us.

ahaaa,i agree with you!About ten years ago,i sent more than ten letters every week, when i think of it,my god,was really carzy! We come from different places, have different customs and character, and never met,but we talk about everything by letter, some become my intimate friends and keep in contact with each other now, unluckly,I didn't meet my wife,^@^.Of course, i have more and more online friends, but for me most of them only are id codes,we can't trust each other, the reason is with the development of science, pace of life getting faster and faster,we don't have more energy exchange emotion,I think it is only one of the negative effects. We can't change it,but we must face it.
