Well I know some of yall have seen when bush went to Iraq and a man threw a shoe at him. Then the same thing happened again recently with another minister. I believe that bush deserved it, but to be honest he was a guest in their country. Two I am sorry but it is just disrespectful to do that to someone of high power. I mean if people did not like jesus and they saw him today... they would throw shoes at him thats crazy. It's not disrespect to him, but to his country and what they believe in. I just wanna know all your thoughts on this. Thanks for your comments.

You're right, it was disrespectful of the thrower to do that, but I think that was the point he was trying to make, to be rude in hopes that America will leave Iraq sooner rather than later. Cannot say I really blame the Iraqis because they have been getting, well let's call a spade a spade, crapped on by America. It is not right, but I think it was more out of righteous indignation. I mean, think about this, what if an invading army from another country were to invade America? Would we, as Americans take it lying down or would getting up off our collective cans to do something about it? I think it would be the latter option of getting up off our cans and doing something to repel the enemy. Iraqis are doing no less than that.

It is crime and illegal to throw shoes at ministers or others.I think the person who throw shoes are doing this only for reputation. The person who thrown shoe on bush got more reputation by some countries but in India the person who recently thrown shoe on Indian minister not got any reputation.
This persons should be punished. If they think that the minister is wrong then he can file a suit in court. He has no right to throw shoe.

Well, regardless of whether someone thinks Bush deserved it or not, it's disrespectful. In Iraq throwing your shoes at someone is simular to spitting on someone in the US. It's a sign of disrespect and dislike. If someone went and spit on a visiting leader here in the US you can bet someone would be doing jail time. The fact that ppl over in Iraq think this guy is some kind of hero is a sad statement of their country.
