When my children were young we had fun making their Easter Baskets. It is so much fun plus it is that quality time of bonding with your children.

My daughter is too old for a basket now.I mostly liked to make my own.But one year she saw one pre-made one that she wanted.

I love doing up the kids Easter baskets by myself. It's a lot of fun to find the goodies to put into it. You're right, it's much more personal for them if we do it ourselves. I like putting in the usual candies and all, but I also like to put in some easy little games they can fit into their pockets, or to play in the car or something. I loved doing the baskets for my own kids, and now I love doing them for my grandkids...too much fun!!

I make my own baskets, but I don't really go overboard. I buy those cheap 99 cent easter bunnies, a couple handfuls of jelly beans, and some small prize, like a pack of hairbands. I don't like making holidays too materialistic. The simpler the better, in my book!

Hi angel, I love easter. my girls are 16 and 14 years old. I still make their easter baskets every year. I also, make my husband one. I put fishing supplies, suntan lotion, hair accessories. Also, their favorite candy and chips, along with toothpaste and toothbrush.Maybe a new movie or book they like. Some surf mocks for the beach. A loved one is never too old for an easter basket. My husband's friends are usually jealous because he got one and they didn't.lol.
