Lending money-Please help

It is really hard if money is involve in the relationship. I just hope you still have given your sister more time to pay her loan to you. Just like you've, she is good in paying her debt. Maybe she as really too tight right now that she hasn't pay you back. Just increase your patience with her payment.

I know a lot of people say that, if you choose to lend money, you should consider it being given away because you might not be paid back. I agree with that to a large extent but I think I'd feel differently if it were my sister I lent it to... if you are really strapped for the cash, I think you should tell her. I'd basically say, "I feel horrible having to ask this but I'm really coming up short this week and I wondered if you'll be able to pay me back the money you borrowed?" My sister and I are very close and I can talk to her about anything. I don't think I'd feel at all bad asking because, if she couldn't pay me, she would just tell me honestly. A lot depends on the kind of relationship you have :)
