Domestic violence is a truth in so many lives. In some homes its so common it may almost seem normal, but it is not acceptable to the individual victim and to society. Most victims of domestic violence are women. They come from all social and economic background. domestic violence that has happen within the family is a way of controlling another person. Victim suffer physical injury, they live in fear in their homes and have no power over their lives. One of the ways to help yourself is to believe you are not alone. Dont blame yourself for someone else's violent behaviour, you deserve to be safe. Try take step towards healing and prevention. Dont be afraid to tell someone

Willy-
I survived domestic abuse in my first marriage, and I'm a strong advocate for women to get help, get out, and heal! I can't say enough that it's not love. It's not healthy if you have children to stay in that relationship, and you are worth far more! I've included several linkes for Domestic Violence Help Guides. These are not referral links, they are links that will save a woman, man, or child's life.
