Hey myLotters, traveling the whole world has always fascinated me..But it will require a lot of time and monetary power to do this. So how many days do you think will be required to travel the world.

I went around the world when I was 20 years old. My trip lasted for just over one year. Some people that I have met did their around the trip in less time like six or even three months. A busy person with only a month of work could do an around the world trip but time in each destination would be limited. There is a famous journey to think of and that is called Around the World in 80 days. Nowadays people can fly and therefore a journey could be less than that because the 80 days included overland and sea time. Imagine a business man leaves from Rome he could visit Singapore, Sydney, Auckland, Fiji, Los Angeles and London. His trip might last just 30 days. Think of a student going for six weeks and she hasn't much money. Therefore she will go to cheaper destinations. She lives in London. Her route might be Cairo, Delhi, Manila, Bangkok, Sydney and Guatemala City via Los Angeles. She would stay in backpacker hostels and cheap guest houses. Perhaps a man living in India wants to go around the world. He could travel overland up to Kathmandu and then get the cheapest flight to China. From there he could travel by bus, train and ferry through Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. He could get a flight to Darwin from there. Then he could backpack through Australia. Maybe then he would run out of money so would fly home but at least he would have seen eight countries.

You guys inspire me, but being a Filipino its very impossible coz im nobody.Maybe to the rich people could do those thing.I'd tried to travel here in Asia like Hong Kong and Macau there's alot of discrimination how much more if i will try to travel in London and USA.All I can say is that life is so unfair when it comes to immigration officers, just kidding but its true ha ha ha..But i can't blame them, it's their job to ask questions and to hold your travel time and send you back were you belong.....Just like that, but i'm inviting you all to visit our beautiful country "The Land of Hospitality" Philippines. Just email me and let me know how many days you want to stay and I will give you the cheapest Philippine tour ever....Coz now I'm a tour planner here, and hoping to have a guest who is traveling around the world so i could be a part of your story.God Bless You All. i don't think traveling the world could be measured in days, for thatfact even months years or a lifetime. there is so much in the world to see so much to expereince you couldn't complete it all in one life. set aside some contries/cities you would like to see and start traveling honestly try to do something different i/e people always go to paris or london stuff like that why not go visit africa or parts of asia thats would be something to see. good louck with the traveling thing but theres too much to see you need to figure out what it is that you want to see

It depends on what you consider traveling! Are you going to actually sight see, or just simply travel through areas? Because sightseeing... you could end up spending weeks in a single city! Traveling sounds like fun, but it's VERY expensive! Between hotels and food, you'd rack up quite a bill!
