Well... I have to disagree. I don't really like Mighty Morphin and didn't when it first came out either. But now that I have 3 boys, two of which are big Power Ranger fans. I haven't seen that many episodes of Mighty Morphin since it was on forever, but I have seen most of every other season (except Wild Force because for some reason they don't show repeats of it that often), and I can honestly say that they're not that bad (except Turbo, there I can say WHAT were they thinking?). So since I watch it with my kids, tape it and get used to the characters, I can say that it's not that bad. However if someone just happens to catch one episode then I can see how they wouldn't like it. Is it kind of stupid? Yes! Is it silly? Of course it is. But it gives me a laugh to see the costumes of the bad guys and some of the corny stuff they say. I'd rather watch the Power Rangers then a lot of other kid shows that are out now. My favorite was Dino Thunder. SPD I had a hard time getting used to but Mystic Force wasn't too bad but then again I liked the whole mystical/magical theme.

And Zeo, that's another one I didn't like. I didn't really like any until In Space.

Oh, come on, they were always lame! Though if I remember correctly, the original show was ever-so-slightly tongue-in-cheek. I gather it isn't anymore.

I guess they plan on milking every single last cent out of the merchandising, though it seems kind of doubtful that anyone is actually buying it anymore, lol.

you guys almost got it. see the thing is this is a kids show. when you were younger you enjoyed it. why? because that was the kind of kid that you were. interested with the flashy colors with extreme action, and robots. you have to have liked the robots. now, you're no longer that kid. your looks have changed, your interests and so have your taste in things. the formula of the show hasn't changed. you have. why dump on a show who's target audience you no longer belong to? have you ever gotten hold of an old cartoon show you used to like years ago and watched it today. chances are you'd be scratching your head trying to figure out what made you like it in the first place.

I liked them in the earlier days as well. They are still alright. But they added so much business it is hard to keep up with the Transformers type things and sci fi things and it's just to dizzy... and when I watched the little ones they are like in a trance because they are so overwhelmed by it..

I am just so glad I no longer have to watch them. my son adored them when he was little and he had everything power rangers. I haven't seen anything about them since he outgrew them many years ago. The spin-offs never do good regardless of what it is.

thats because back then Saban made eps that can lasts for 20 minutes most of the time. but now that Disney owns it, Disney doesnt do a good job writing their scripts. if i was to compare Saban's PR vs Sentai, i would pick Saban. but if it is Disney vs Sentai, then i have to pick Sentai. and one more thing, on Mystic Force... they were focusing on Nick the most. i really didnt get to know any other rangers' personality. and now about most of the cartoons they have nowadays, they are a bit cheesy. they dont have good cartoons back in the 90s. btw i was born in 1990. so i ended up liking 90s cartoons other than newer cartoons now. x-men 90s cartoon series was one of the best! :D
