what keeps you from responding?

i noticed that the hot topics here in myLot have about 20-30 (average) responses only. Out of the 167,312 members, there are only around 25 people who responded? hmm.. so that's what we call hot. :)
well, that's not actually my point.
the main question is: what prevents you from responding to a discussion here in myLot. is it because the topic does not interest you at all so you skip it? or is it because there are already too many responses that you feel your response would become unnoticed. sometimes, we feel that the best answer has already been given so what's the point of responding if my answer won't stand out? :)
or is it simply that you are not in the mood to answer/respond to a discussion however interesting the topic is? laziness in short. (like what's happening to me right now). :D

Piss off then, Mathss and don't answer if it bores you (actually, I know it doesn't ... you are just in a mood. I get that way, too )
