More Responders means more money?

This is a question about mylot.I wanted to know how the money is earned by a discussion starter here in mylot?Is it true that discussions with more responders mean more money for the discussion starter or payment is same for any discussion?How much can we earn with these discussions?

No-one knows exactly how we earn and what we are paid for BUT the only way to earn well is to be ACTIVE and make QUALITY posts.
If you start a discussion and it does not receive any responses you will earn nothing.
If you start a discussion and it has 10 responses it will earn something.
BUT
if you go back and COMMENT to all those responses you will earn even more because YOU are paid for YOUR OWN activity not the activity of others.
I suggesr you spend a day just trying out each different aspects of things here. One day start a discussion, one day respond on others and one day commenting and see how it affects youtr earnings. I spend days commenting on my own discussions (they are not discussions otherwise) and I have so far only started one (1) discussion this month.

Hi mysdianait,thanks for taking your time to respond to my discussion.Your response was quite valuable.I will try this trick you mentioned to see what will improve my earnings mostly.Great suggestion buddy.Let me tell you one day I started only 4 discussions and responded to none.I earned 10 cents,is it good?

If you are happy with it then it is good.
If you are not then you can do something to improve it.
For example try going back and commenting to all those who responded 
Each time you comment your discussion reappears at the top of the list of
simialr discussions ---
and youmight get even more responses... which you can then comment on again

Hi mysdianait,thanks for your latest addition to this discussion.I liked it and wanted to thank you.No I am not happy with 10 cents a day.I want to grow it up to 1$ a day.Though I am not sure if it is possible for me.I am going to try with all your comments will help me to do so.

Definitely, discussions with more responses provides more earning. But the responses should be good and moreover it depends on the rating the responders give to your comments. Whenever you make any comment there are three symbols at the end of your comment viz. +, - and !. If your comments get more of + by the responders you rating will increase and so will your income.
This completely what I think.

You earn by you own activity not the activity of others.
Try commenting back to those who respond and see if anything alters.

... and the more times you comment the more they can rate and the more you will be active and therefore the more you will earn too.

One can rate your comments only when you have commented on his response. Without your comments what will others rate.

I am not sure whether the amount you earn will be determined by the number of response you get. Maybe initially, but if few days down the road when your post are responded, I did not see any amount of money being added.
Well, I would say, MyLot payment is based on the number of posts and responses you made.

I want to know too. I'm not sure about this because somebody has told me I don't get anything when I response to the discussions that I make. When I respond more than 1 time to the same discussions, it is wasting time because I won't get extra earnings. And the other thing that I don't understand is do I get more than 1 cent if I write longer post? I never get what the criteria that they give us earnings... And they even delete our post if we talk about it, this one might be considered as that too...

NO-one knows the amount, whether we earn more or less than one cent and the Guidelines tell us we are not to discuss that aspect.
What we can do is advise on which activities get paid.
Comments on response DEFINATELY are worth doing because they contribute VERY well to earnings. After all it is the comments which make a discussion into a discussion!
MyLot is for discussions so it makes sense!

Thanks for your important response to this discussion.I just mentioned about those rates because somebody told me about those.Most probably that particular comment was made in this discussion.However,I also believe that mylot has a unique algorithm to determine earnings here.
