I totally agree with you here. These disgusting women who refuse to sit and pee above the toilet spraying the seat are the whole reason the bathroom is disgusting in the first place. If they didn't gross the place up then it wouldn't be that way. Why don't they just put some toilet paper or paper towels down on the seat first. Are they afraid cooties will jump off onto them?

I agree by saying that is so discusting for females to pee all over the seat. If the toilet seat covers aren't available there should be some paper towels or toilet paper you can put down. I always carry a travel size lysol can in my purse and some gem killing wipes. You can always use a little germ fighters. It's not only at the gas stations people tend to do this, my mom works at a hotel and she has told me so many gross stories about how people get sh*t all over the toilet, vomit in the sinks, tubs and floors, even girls leave thereused femine products plopped on the floor. I think there is way so many people who need to learn some good hygiene habits. I just donn't see why any male or female has to be so gross and inconsiderate of other people who will enter next!!

I never sit on a public toilet because you never know who or what was wiped all over it. Even if they do wipe off their pee, it's still there but you just can't see it...that's why I don't sit on a toilet. What I really hate is when someone poops or pees and they don't even have the decent courtesy to flush the toilet. It's sick!

this doesn't mean u should not sit in a toilet seat in a restroom.People should become more health conscious or the management concerning the restrooms should take care of it.

This seriously depends on what kind of public toiletseat we talk about. Those at the highways i certainly dont touch unless its from "Sanifair" - a company in germany where the toilets clean themselves with water and soap ;) Super smart and they are clean.

Well, I am a guy so I use public bathrooms quite frequently as long as it's a standing up matter. I would never even think about sitting down on one unless it was in an adult facility, like an office.

Some public restrooms can be pretty disgusting! Most of the time though, if it's bad enough, and you're in a reputable or semi-reputable place, you can ask for a clerk or associate to address the mess in the restroom. Generally, places are more than willing to clean things up!

I have observed that majority public toilets are badly maintained. I can understand that the unpleasantness and difficulty of a public toilet worker, so I felt that toilets should adopt the squatting type over seating ones. In a way, they would be easier to maintain and overall much practical and hygienic. I do come across these annoyances and just could not bring myself to sit on any one of these toilet seats in the public. I would only do that if the toilet is generally attended to by attentive attendants like the ones in the hotels. Yes, I do detest those who are inconsiderate and would not clean or flush after their usage.

No I do not sit on public toilet seats! You can buy toilet seat covers to carry in your purse. And if all else fails use paper towells or some hand sanitizer or something. They are called "seaties" and are available in about any store in the childrens department. They come in different size packages but they have a pocket size (10) that will fit right in your purse or diaper bag. I used to get them for when my kids were potty training but now I just carry a pack in my purse for emergencies. I rarely use a public restroom myself but sometimes it is inevitable and when it is I hate finding a wet seat!

I hate using dirty public toilets. I never sit on the toilet bowl because I know it is super dirty. I do not sit at all no matter how a public toilet look clean because I don't know who was the last who used it and I am pretty sure that the germs are all over. I hate to even touch the flush and I always use my foot in flushing. I hate those who make it messy so the best way to avoid getting germs is not to let your entire body touch anything.

Your right. thats just gross. I never sit on a public toilet seat But I always make sure that the seat is clean when I am done. When I take my kids to the bathroom I only hope that the seats are clean.. I just think public restrooms in general are disgusting..the way people leave it is wrong.. I mean is this how you would keep your own bathroom. With pee all over the seats and floors.. I always find it amazing how the womens room is so much grosser than the mens room..
