is it possible for an 8 years old Cockateil Parrot to talk?

i have 2 Cockateil parrots and they are 8 years old, both male and female never said one word, should i keep them in separate cages? or what i should do? is it possible at all that they will talk ?

How are your cockatiels doing? I hope you had luck with them.They are very nice birds.I like to hear them sing.

I think you should try to spend more time with the birds and talk to them. The more you talk to them there is a more chance of it learning to talk. I think it takes times like six months to one year for them to finally talk. Continue talking to them. Sing them songs and tell nice things to them and they will start watching you and will try to talk to you back.
