who is funnier jim carrey or adam sandler?

I'm going to have to go with Adam Sandler, i do still like Jim Carey and will always watch his movies as they are hilarious, but Adam Sandler is the man for making people laugh. Adam Sandler has some great movies out there and his new ones are just as funny as his older ones and the same for Jim Carey, i just seem to enjoy watching Adam Sandler more.

Well you can't really compare the two of them as their comedy approach is very VERY different. It's like comparing with . I enjoyed Jim Carrey in Pet detective movies and of course Disney's "A Christmas Carol". Also liked Bruce Almighty and Mr. Popper's Penguins but not the others he made which either I didn't see or didn't like. Well for Adam Sandler there have been quite a number of movies I adored: 50 first dates, Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, Bedtime Stories, The Longest Yard, Anger Management, Billy Madison, Nicky. From all the movies enumerated I especially enjoyed Happy Gilmore, 50 First Dates, Bedtime Stories, Bruce Almighty, Mr. Popper's Penguins and A Christmas Carol, so I think they are kind of tied in my mind.

When I was a kid, I used to laugh at Jim Carrey's jokes. But when I grew up, I find him so corny now! It's like he's just trying hard to make people laugh! Then I saw the movie The Wedding Singer. That's when I started to appreciate Adam Sandler's humor, it's more simple but it really works. Until now, I always watch his movies and so far I don't find him corny with his jokes. So for me, it's obviously Adam Sandler! Happy Mylotting Pinoymelancholy! Mabuhay ang Pinoy!

jim carrey made me laugh when i was like 12 but here we are like 16 years later and i can't remember the last time i truly enjoyed a movie he was in. adam sandler made some pretty consistently funny movies that still make me laugh to this day but lately has just been making crap after crap after crap. if only i could make that much money taking craps on film as he has, i wouldn't be in the predicament i'm in today. that predicament being poor as a mofo and hating life.

To give them both credit they are good at what they do. I would have to choose adam sandlers early movies over jim carrey's work. I think adam is a lot less annoying then jim in my personal opinon. They both have had great movies though.

In my opinion they're both very good actors but Jim Carrey makes me laugh more. Adam Sandler is to serious in every movie , he doesn't smile to much.
