Well that is if its good at maths and dates and comes out on time (or before I dont mind) but I hope it wont take more than that as I honestly have had it. I am in pain all over, cant sleep, cant walk, cant do anything. Everything is ready and suitcase is packed my son asks every 5 min when the baby is comming (so I packed him off to his grandparents). Baby is all set to go (very very low) but hey why not torture me for few more days right. Dont get me wrong I cant wait to have this kid and I am very happy and all. But 40 weeks?????? I demand that the time be shorter than this (what are all the scientist doing looking for aliens and cloning monkeys - DO SOMETHING USEFUL).
I wonder how many felt like this and when did you started feeling that way?
For my first child I think I was ok (and he was born at 42 weeks) but with this one maybe because I was so ill from the start it seems like I have been pregnant for 2 years. Plus I hate when people say NOT LONG NOW, yeah maybe to you but to me 1 day is very long time.

I know the feeling! With my daughter, I went to 41 weeks and I was MISERABLE. By the end of the 41 weeks I was convinced that I was going to be pregnant forever and that my daughter would never come out! At the end, time always seems to drag by! It's definitely not any fun, and other people don't always understand! You'll be fine though, just do lots of walking and practice your breathing exercises!

Ha ha ha! I know what you mean! I'm 35 weeks with my second child right now, and I'm getting to the point I have to carry my belly when I walk!

I wish you lots of luck for your baby's birth. Pregnancy is an exciting time and the lady can feel unwell in the first few months, well in the middle few months and tired with a large bump in the last couple of months. The days leading up to the baby's due date is exciting time. It is impossible to tell until labor happens which day the baby will be born. My sons both arrived a couple of days before their due date. Your young son has been wondering when your baby will arrive and I hope he is having an enjoyable time at his parents. One hour seems a long time to you at the moment so I hope your baby will arrive when it will suit you most. Take care.

I wish it was as easy as you said in my case sick few months, well in the mid and all that I was sick the whole time more or less. Morning (or should I say 24/7) sickness, abdomenal pain, baby or something presing on a nerve so my v.... has been numb for months now or extremly painful, back pain and much more. But I would do it all over again to get to where I am. This baby means the world to me and my family. My son has lots of fun at my parents house he came back home for a day and his cousin told him he was going there so he went again. But why would they not go there when grandpa and grandma walk on all 4 for them.

Not only were you ill during this time, but you were handed the extreme weather! The heat alone was enough to make this pregnancy seem forever! So truly, am glad for you that the time is nigh!
On the lighter side, gotta admit, there were times after my son was born, that I wished I could put him back in there, so I could get some rest! LOL!
Hope this time goes fast for you..and the pain subsides soon! Happy Easter & Cheers!

hi there violeta. I cannot feel what you have felt right now considering that I am male and will never be pregnant. However, I just wish that you will have a wonderful and successful delivery later on and have a healthy baby. I know its not easy since my wife had her pregnancy also.

yeah yeah just rub it in why dont you lucky you if you are anything like my husband no wonder man cant have babies. I will tell you how it feels so you know how your wife feels. Imagine having cold water poured on you for 5 min and then it turnes hot we get that a lot. Or having all this energy or feeling high as I call it when I feel all dreemy and nice and bam 2 seconds later opening your eyes hurts because you have no energy. Dont get me started on extra blood (2 litters) extra fat and plus the baby and when I want to cry and lough at the same time (yeah try that one).
But having said that would I change anything NO WAY. Would I do it again probably (if I can convince my husband after all this).
