Would the world be worse then what it already is, or better? so, im not a religious person though i was brought up in Christianity as a child and I've seen a lot of debates going on here about religious issues.. so i wanna know in your own opinion what do you think the world would be like if religion didn't exist?

I have been to Israel and seen just how close the Western Wall is to the Dome of the Rock. History has contributed to quite a few conflicts in that country. Religion has plus points like making the people behave and it gives a number of people a feeling of comfort. Religion can give people a sense of good morality. Without religion that world might be more peaceful but that is difficult to see.

Religion just reflects the people of this world. Deep down we all know God. This compels man to search for God. All knowledge on Earth must be discovered. When we discover we are rewarded by knowing. Look at science today. Knowledge is not given so that we will learn wisdom. Everybody wants to rule the world! What happens to religion now? Look around! It is what we have today. The world is like a giant puzzle. Everyone holds a special piece. For those who want control in this world knowWe can never see the true picture unless everyone is free to express that which is special to them. I find it funny that those who look for God always find someone else for help. If you really search for God, find your own path then you will wander less. You won't have to listen to what other men think God wants!

Well, the religion, in a way hardly matters to live with joy in this world. However, if we take good parts from all the religion the life can become a bit better then it is right now.
You are right, if we just see a normal human being its really not possible for any person in the world to make out which religion they belong to. As the religion was not made by God, it was made by we human being. Hence if their were not religion, many wars in this world could not have occurred. Most of the points of hate between two human being wouldn't arise. All the human being would be treated equally.
Still, there are some benefits of religion. The excuse to enjoy, the religions teaching respect for others, love for others, festivals to enjoy, and many more.

I think it's fine to have a different religions. This means that everybody has the freedom to choose what they believe in.
However, problem arises when religious leaders and loyal members are fighting each other to force their belief. In world history, there are a lot of instances where believers are killing non-believers and until now, there is a strong discrimination.
However, I think that a world without religion will only be in the dreams of John Lennon and almost impossible. But then, if the fight between different religion will get worst. I prefer that all of us will not have any religion at all.
By the way, I consider myself being no member of any religion. But I do believe that there is only one GOD whoever He is, and I try to respect all kinds of belief as long as they are not hurting anyone.
