Today, the stock market was up a great bit, somewhere in the 200+ range, Wells Fargo reported great first quarter earnings and unemployment numbers were not as high as expected. Does this signal the coming out of the recession and better times ahead? Some economic experts are saying that these are the signs that we are slowly coming out of the recession, yet, unemployment, which is the last part of all of this, is going to get worse before it gets better. Well, this is still not my idea that things are getting better. The more people who are working, the more money will be put back into the market. At the same time, there are experts who believe that the coming out of the recession is still going to be slow and that we will not see improvements until sometime late in 2010.
What say you? Are you in belief that we are coming out the recession now, or are we being fooled? Is the news from the banks as good as they say it is?
