Sangguniang Kabataan

The Sanggunian Kabataan (SK) could have been a good venue for the youth to participate in community management and invigorate civic mindedness. Well, those problems you shared are the minor representations of what is going on in our society. There's the bureaucracy we all have to deal with, the corruptions, and the ambivalence of some to join worthy causes. Since SK is also an avenue of training good leaders, then the problems you enumerated are actually part of the exercise. You do good in solving those problems and it will help you do more trivial projects in the future. You know what? Having noticed those problems, you are in the position to either be part of the solution or worsen the situation. Ignoring the situation is not an option for such will make you part of the problem. If you are one of the elected officers of SK, it's up to you to rise to the challenge and make something worthwhile. But never forget to keep your ideals, enjoy the work and the privileges that go with it and learn as much as you can.

so you are fillipino?right? i was n ever active in our place. and i did not even know who is our officers of the youth. i don't even know if they existed or they have done their goals for the year. no offense but i am not feeling them, maybe because i am not active too. but so far, with your story...maybe it is a hard task..and yes, no one is participating, just like me...
