can you say someone is lying?

yeah,ususally I could say someone is lying or not in front of me,I can not figure out the concrete reason but I know he is lying,and most times it turns out that I am right toward that.maybe it's my instinct or something.

Hello mkchaves, good day to you. In my experience many people here in this world have a great ability to lie which is very hard to determine with out a clue, as in the are prettending that the words that are coming out in their mounth is true, but deep inside your heart you know it's a lie. Well i can say that the people that i'm talking too is liying to me when i look her/his eye then i ask a question and she/he never look with my eye, like you said when you are talking to her/him. Then i think the second way for me to know that if he/she is lying when i always repeat my question with him/her, because when doing that thing their is a good possibility for me too determine it, when he/she answer a different answer in the same question, well i hope you get my point mkchaves. Well, the third one is when i'm talking to her/him there are time that he/she change the question and ask her/him again to change the way of coversation to avoid some very hard question, that she/he know he/she will be caught up in liying to the person. And last way of knowing if the people that you are talking too is liying to you, is by the LIE DETECTOR TEST with this test, i know a great possibily to kno if she/he is saying the truth. As i know, here in our country in the Philippines, government still using this kind of gadget to know the truth. I think this gadget is process and know the right answer when the pulse rate of the person is change together with his/her heart rate. I know in other country, this gadget is no more to be use because they already have a new gadget but same principle with the first one. Sometimes you can tell someone is lying, but I wouldn't rely on those body clues, like stuttering or looking away, as surefire signs someone is lying. Some individuals feel more awkward, or ill at ease and may display some of those signs, when they are in fact, telling the truth!

I had discovered a friend lying over the phone. He said something to me which didn't add up. So I approached him face to face. I couldn't talk to him for very long because his daughter was there and it didn't concern her. But when I did say a few things to him which was concerning me, all he could say was oh to most things I said. He was unprepared for my visit. I caught him off guard. It was though his responses, I could tell he was lying.

It's my habit to state someone straight into their eyes while talking. The eyes are the window of our soul. They will tell everything even lies. If a person is lying there will be flickers of changes in his/her eyes. It's not much but it will tell me that one is cheating.
