What does the star mean?

I'm pretty sure it has to do with your ranking. I'm not sure how it increases or decreases, but it has something to do with how you're ranked on the site. Try using the search feature. I'm sure there are some discussions on here about the star rankings!

The star means that one of your answer has been chosen as best answer and the number inside the star means the number of times your answer has been chosen as best answer. I guess that is an incentive for giving helpful response.

Hey there! I can see that your star is at 55/100. Mylot star indicates your reputation and rank here in mylot. A mylotter gets a star once he/she gets to a hundred post. Every time rates your posts positively your ranking and rating goes up. The color of the star and the number in it also changes. I hope that it's clear now. Have a nice day. Happy posting!!
