Which gender do you hope for your fist baby ,boy or girl?

If you can determine the gender of your first baby what would you do a boy or a girl?Before you first baby born,what is your hope?In China,parents usually love boys more than girls.And what about it in your country?
As time goes on,now young spouse consider that girls and boys are equal.Either boy or girl is precious for his or her parents in one-child family.And if you have the chioce to select which one would you prefer?

I have 2 children. When I was pregnant with the first one, I didn't worry too much about having a boy or a girl. I just wanted a healthy baby.
I had a boy.
For my second child, I wanted to have a boy to give my first born a baby brother. I had a girl.
These days if I had a choice of what I would like, I would prefer boys.

I can't have any more children. I have closed the door completely on having any more children. My 2 that I do have drive me up the wall at times when they fight. And it is over silly little things like if one looks at the other the wrong way.

In our country, we have no preference in terms of the gender of the child. We are a pro-life country and are against abortion.
But If I will be given a chance to choose the gender of my first born child, I want it to be a boy. Because male can be count on a lot of errands at home and tend to be reponsible among his siblings.
