I've been sleeping very comfortably until now that I'm 36 weeks, all this time I didn't need to put extra pillows on my legs or under my belly but lately I find myself very annoyed during the night because nothing feels good while sleeping. So what is your favorite sleeping position?

Hi, claudiamac.
Don't worry, you still have 2-3 weeks to go, time flies and everything will be ok soon.
When i was in last trimester, it's really difficult for me to find a comfortable position to fall into sleep because my tummy was really big and heavy. I had pain in my pelvic area when i lie down on my back or turning around my body. Therefore, the most comfortable position is lying on the side. But i need to put a small pillow under my big tummy so that i would not feel that heavy. It's better to lie down on left side so that there will be enough oxygen sent to baby.
I remember during the pregnancy, i need 4-5 pillows.... What about you?
Anyway, hope you will have a happy time and a healthy baby.

Yeah I understand you! I might have to try the pillows but so far I don't feel like I need them because it's only been a few days that I'm not sleeping so good, my hubby told me today I was making noises while I was sleeping like something was hurting, and he also told me I was sleeping on my back which scared me cuZ I know is not good, I always try to stay as much as I can on my left side...so I just told him to roll me Roll if he saw me on my back, LOL , anyways thanks for the comment and I'll let u know how everything comes out.,,

I am only 13 weeks so I have not had any problems with sleeping positions. I do find it hard to sleep through the whole night. I usually sleep 6 hours and then take a 2-3 hour nap in the day, I am not sure why this is happening. I heard that sleeping on the Left side is the best because it allows the most blood flow to the heart, not sure if this will help you.

Oh enjoy it! Until now I was sleeping all thru the night with very few interruptions, I do sleep on the left side but my body hurts when I stay too long on that side, I miss so much sleeping on my back and on my belly.... Sometimes when I change positions during the night and I lay on my back I always wish I could just stay like that for a while, but just the thought of my baby not getting enough oxigen makes me roll over right away.... Are u thinking of getting a pregnancy pillow?
