for me, not wearing any make up at night helps relax the pores in the face, that's why we women usually has to wash it with plain water, others with like warm water, to make the skin relax, but you know, my sister likes to wear lipstick before going to bed because she prefers to be beautiful when she wakes up, LOL

Hi Lingzi, I usually remove all facial makeup before sleeping - make sure that my face is clean. But I apply night creams on my face instead.

You should NOT apply makeup before bed. You SHOULD apply moisturiser before bed.

As far as I know nobody does that...I think not even the hollywood bollywood actresses. We need to cleanse our face before we sleep. It's bad to apply and leave make up on as we go to bed at night. For me, I would cleanse my face and apply Avon solutions night cream before I go to bed. I have not come across any article which says applying make and leave them and go to bed is good yet.

You should NEVER apply make up before you go to bed. Your skin needs to breathe in moisture and vitamins. What you need to apply is a good night moisturizer. NO make up. You only apply make up during the day. Your skin tends to get oily when you're awake, when you're asleep it's drier. They're right that your skin absorbs a lot, but usually 20mins at a time. So when you're in a spa, that's why they don't let you soak for suck a long time. Coz there's really no point after 20mins.

It might depend on the job you have: I mean if you go to bed not to sleep... :-D Seriously, there are beauty masks you can wear at night, but most of them should be removed after some time and you wouldn't like to wake up in the middle of the night... and then there are night creams, as others suggested.

no i dont. after work, i wash my face and apply a moisturizer. i easily get pimples if i live a make up on my face. i usually get it when i forgot to wash my face or if i sweat a lot.. i am not sure if that theory you have is okay because ive never heard of it.

Hi Linzi, I don't use make up though but belongs to a family where so many people are involved in beauty culture business and medical. Why a person needs make-up when she has not to go out? One can use only some medical creams before sleeping as it can remain on your face for long without going under sun...

Hahahah Who the hell does that? I think it's the other way round for most people right? Instead of applying make up, i think we REMOVE our make up instead because you're going to bed, and who could possibly want you dressed up and looking proper in BED?? and besides, i totally agree that it's bad for your skin...
