Anyone's computer got viruses through msn ?

Last month my messenger went crazy after I clicked on a link one of my friends sent me. It became very serious that I had to create a new account for chatting because everything was out of my control!
Anyone had this problem or got infected by a virus similar to this?

No this is new for me because I am using Yahoo & GTALK for chat.
they are best, GTALK is simple to chat, easy fast. Best for CALL.

This is a common viruses which was spread from two years ago.Next time if your friends send you any link.please ask about it.
