I wasn't in favor of IPL last year also but it was a big hit and that's why I thought it must be organized in India. Mr. Lalit modi was well aware of the fact that this april it would be an election time and it is because he wants to satisfy his ego, he took that league to SA.
I am not in favor of what you are suggesting and Mr. Modi would understand it too. Because once it would start getting hosted outside India then it would be demanded that more international player should play into it.
Have you ever heard of any football league hosted other than host country. This clearly is a bulshit!

yes, next year IPL will be hosted in India as personally I am not enjoying IPL in SA. We don't see the usual 6&4 in any matches. Remember the grand opening of IPL 20-20 when BB McCullam has blasted 157 runs against RBC.
This time I remember two of the teams can't even reach to 100 in second innings, specially when the match is being played under light and we are facing problems by rain too!
I do't like it at all!

I'm sorry. I disagree with you. I think IPL should be hosted all the time in India. There are a lot of international matches happening in India, but Indians consider IPL as their on match and the ticket rates are very less (Rs 200 to Rs 5000) compared to other International Cricket matches happening in Inida. So, IPL should be for the average Indian cricket lovers to go and see the match in reality.
Conducting the match in India also helps the Indian economy. People from othe countries come to India to watch and it helps the bus people, shops nearby the circket stadium, resturants, and hotes nearby the stadium to have a big sale. So, it helps Indian economy.
The only problem is it is critical to provide enough security to the cricket players in India in the situation of Parliment elections. Indian government is more concentrating on conducting elections without any problems and they don't want to get embarassed by exporting police men from other countries to provide enough support for the IPL games in India.
So, it is better to conduct abroad than causing security problems for the international cricket players and create a condition that no team will take the risk to come to India thereafter.

I don't think that will make much sense. The reason for why the IPL is being hosted outside India is well known to all of us now. That reason is really a legitimate one. Because nothing is more important that anyone's life. If that's in jeopardy then nothing is important as that much. And moreover there were these election times too. So, there was indeed a shortage of security which the foremost come what may. But i don't think, it will happen every year. So, in such excpetional conditions it was correct not to hold the IPL in India. Otherwise, India is quite ok.

Why do you want Indian Premier League to be played outside India? This league has included internatinal players just for the benefit of the local Indian domestic players by playing with them.Only 4 foreign players are allowed to play in every match for each team.So its just an Indian league , so should not be played outside India. If not call it World Premier League(there might be no Indians playing then) hahaha.
