A few incidents that indicated that some of the PTC sites became scams with a new scam technique, hacked into some body's PayPal account and made a referrals purchase of $145USD and the transaction was successfully done. This was because she used the same password for the PTC sites and her PayPal account. Other incidents happened to me but I was lucky that I did not lose money because I realized the situation and immediately changed my password on PayPal and AlertPay.
I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU ALL NOT TO USE THE SAME PASSWORD FOR THE PTC SITES AND YOUR PAYPAL/ALERTPAY. IF YOU DO, CHANGE IT IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID BEING VICTIM OF THIS SCAM TECHNIQUE. ALSO, WHEN RECEIVING AN EMAIL FROM YOUR PAYPAL OR ALERTPAY, DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK PROVIDED IN THE EMAIL EVEN THOUGH IT HAS THE HTTPS IN THE LINK, USE YOUR WEB BROWSER AND ENTER THE ADDRESS THERE.
Take care of yourselves mylotter friends and don't fall victims for these scams.

Sad but true. There seems to be more and more thieves on the internet and international law enforcement is either indifferent or incapable of doing anything. I guess it is up to us to look after ourselves, it is getting sort of like the wild wild west out here. I think that what the www in the internet is becoming to mean.

You are certain welcome my friend, my purpose here is to alert everyone of the new scam techniques that those people take advantage of us. They take advantage of the people like ourselves wanting to make money, lure us to their traps and then make money from us instead of us making money on them.
Cheers,

Yes this is all true as it happened to me with alertpay. I had the same passwords and someone managed to take all my money from alertpay. Thanks God I sent an e-mail to Alertpay and they managed to trace the account and I was refunded my money back. After reading your friends story I would suggest that she writes to paypal at once and in the e-mail she tells them that she did not do that transaction .I am sure they will surely help!
