I looked in my closet recently and realized...

I need to go shopping. The only problem is I am low on extra funds for this. So I guess I better get moving on my online earning for the extra dough to supplement my new found discovery of out dated clothing, outdated hair and bascially an outdated taface....I knew it was happening over the years as I slashed my budget for extra spending. But now I know I have to still keep up with the times and make myself buy stuff. Do you realize this as it is happening, or does it just hit you in the face?

I do as well, just that with the economy so bad and money being tight with everyone. It's just so hard to just go out and shop. You have to wait til something is unwearable and then you go shop for that item. That's how I've been doing. I realized it when I started to think harder and harder to either buy food and pay bills or buy new clothes. It's tough and hard, but it's just what we're going through right now.

I suppose this can happen but I personally change my style all time and change my hair style on a regular basis. And mix and match my clothes bags shoes all the time. mgraham126

You should budget for clothes each month, that way you can shop all year long.

I like you at time would realized that I don't have that much clothes that are of the latest trend but I can still say that most of my clothing is with the trend or fashion though what I have noticed is that most of it can't fit me any longer I gained weight and the fit doesn't really look good any longer. I need some clothes to fit my body or i need to double time losing those gained fats...

shopping is my career! I'm trying my very best to find a better place to go and to struggle for a good buy!And I dont like the luxuries and i can not afford that! All i want is the competitive price and the style just for me..maybe not so up to trend, at least, comfortable on me. And that is enough! Have a nice day!

Gosh i have also slowly realisted my clothes are getting outta date or just worn out :( my problem is im extremly picky with what i want to wear so i end up having alot of clothes that ends up worn out at the same time *sigh* I finally managed to get my self a pair of new nice sneakers, of unknown brand 14 days ago, after having searched for 5 months or so for a pair, i even looked through all the known brands; Nike, Adidas, Puma etc. but none inbetween i liked, so most pleased with my new unknown brand. Sometimes you find what you like inbetween the unexpected.

This happens to me too. Sometimes, even if I buy many clothes, I feel like I still lack clothes. It just shrinks day by day. I think the best thing to do is go to thrift shops for clothes that are of good quality and price. You just have to be very keen about buying to get the most out of your bucks.

Luckily I have 4 daughters to help keep me updated. I tend to let other things prioritize things like fashion etc. They get on my case if I get too lame. As for money...have none. I go to thrift stores and yard sales. I also swap clothes with my daughters and friends. It takes a bit more time and effort to shop around but still, I just can;t justify spending money on being in fashion when I am on such a limited budget.

Yes, i'm having the same dilemma too.. i've raid my closet and found out that i ran out of new clothes to wear.. most of my clothes don't fit in perfectly anymore.. i've lost so much weight and those kind of biggie shirts i usually wear before don't look good on me.. i need to go shopping either but the problem is I don't have enough budget for that.. i'd rather buy essential stuffs like food, groceries and medicines rather than shopping for new clothes.. =)

I don't realize that is happening maybe because i do keep up with the trends. I'm only in my 20's so keeping the same hairstyle is pretty easy but i have wanted to cut it and change it a bit so make myself not have the same hairstyle all the time but oh well i don't have the money to do so just like you. I need to make at least 2.50 here a week to earn payout by the end of the month. I don't have to much farther to reach the 2.50 this week at least. I like to shop and even if it is at goodwill. I can usually find some good things there. I just got a cute spaghetti strap jean dress and a old navy skirt and some old navy capris there so i thought that was good. I might go to the mall, but i usually just shop on the sale and clearance racks only and i do find some good deals at least on there. I probably should stop buying clothes and shoes and get a haircut and maybe a body wave done again to my hair.

hello taface I have the same problem nowadays lol. I actually, looked at my closet this morning and shook my head and thought "Golly, all my clothes and stuff are about to expire their last thread on me" hahaha. I sighed when I closed it because I had to really budget my salary and most of it are out on phone bill, rent and soem additional fees plus food for the month. ugh! lol... I started thinking that maybe I really need to start out on a part time job to at least put some budget on some new stuff to keep up a bit...
