What are your considerations of choosing a laptop?

Last week I helped my friend to buy a laptop. Do you know what are the things I need to think about in order to choose a good laptop for my friend? Of course, it't very simple. What I need to think of are:
1. Processor: I choosed a laptop that has the processor with high speed so that it will help the laptop to work fast.
2. Memory: this is the important agent who help the laptop to work well by working together with processor.
3.Graphic memory: this is what I cannot forget to think of because everything you can see on the monitor is depend on it. Also, it is important for gaming.
What about you?

I will consider "Laptop display", "Laptop Battery Life", "Webcam", "Removable Media and drives", "Pre-pay Wi-Fi".

Yes, display is important. For me, I just got the idea from you. It's that Webcam. Webcam is very important since my friend always want to talk to her brother using Skype in the other country. Thanks....:)

guys when you please help me..i have question... if my laptop is still under in warranty time. then my laptop got a problem they need to change my hard disk but they changed my HD not thesame GB what will i do? do i need to bring it back to their office or not?

For some reason, I check the laptop's memory capacity first. The bigger the better since I like downloading and I want to make sure that my laptop's memory will be able to accomodate all my files. Secondly, the processor. Yep, I hate slow things coz I'm impatient, so it has to be fast. For other criteria..as long as it works fine and does its tasks, a laptop's 'okay' for me.

Well, your reason is the same as mine. I think most people always think about these reason cos they think that the computer can run slowly or fast depend on the processor and RAM.:)

Hey,
I mainly check for 2 things, firstly it must have a decent processor such as 2GHz or higher, and I also look for the laptop to have more than 2GB RAM, because if you have less than 2GB RAM, the computer might not run as fast. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

there's have many reason why i want to have a laptop. because i what to used laptop to my online job, and also to do my home work while on the school and also doing my projects. this is the main reason to considerate my self for choosing laptop
