wanting a cheap les paul style guitar? any companys to look for?

ive been playing guitar for a few years now and ive been wanting a les paul style guitar preferably black i was realy looking for one which i could basicaly take apart and put my own parts in so it could suit me so a cheap one would be nice but also that doesnt play too bad either or if anybody has an old les paul they would like to sell i will take offers?
