When you were at work, and you overheard your co - workers in the middle of gossipping, would you participate it, or you would try to avoid it? For me, I definitely gonna avoid it, and walk away, or busy myself at the moment. Because it wasn't my business, and I don't need to know. What about you?

I am usualy on the other end of the gossip train, so I do not participate in it. Also being the boss I am never in the loop on those sort of things since they are frowned upon in the office people are reluctant to include me.

I would probably join in the conversation. I love to gossip, and I always have loved it. Once people know this they usually say "well how would you like it if someone gossiped about you", but to be honest with everyone, I couldn't care less. I think thats why it's so easy for me to gossip, because I don't mind people gossiping about me. I've been gossiped about before and it doesn't hurt my feelings, because my real friends know me and know whats true and whats not, and thats all that really matters to me. Everyone else can say whatever they'd like, I would gladly be their conversation topic anytime.

I agree with you one-hundred percent. Stay away from gossip. It is like a huge snake waiting to swallow the gossiper up. If people are talking about someone, sooner or later they will be talking about you too. There are so many good things to talk about that we can center on. It would be nice to magnify these things instead of the negative. We all fall prey to gossip at one time or another but it is nice to not do it.
