Space, the final frontier
these are the voyagers of the star ship enterprize,
their on going mission,
to seek out new life & civilization,
to bodly go where no man has gone before
-star trek
Is space really the final frontier, what about the multiple- the idea of multiple dimmension, & is the universe infinite & finite, or is it compact & impossible to see the grand picture, or something else?

from the early childhood, when I look into the sky, I wonder what lies in the sky, Where from the stars come? After reading about the universe in my physics classes, though my curiosity has reduced, but not totally gone. I would surely like to go out into the space and find out for myself what lies there. how does it feel in the space, I would surely try to experience? By God's grace, whether I could get a chance to fulfill my wish, i would surely love to...

It always takes somebody's courage to a thing that none other has ever done before. Those who first dared to venture into the Atlantic, they just needed that one belief that they can do it. And, they succeeded in finding out continents that no one else had ever imagined...

While star gazing may be nice, I wonder, what do you think of the first explorers braveing the atlantic ocean to go to a new world?

I am a multiple dimension believer. And that being said think man has just scratched the surface of frontiers available to be discovered.

Hi, Hacker!
You're certainly an interesting addition to the Lot!
While I understand your discussion to be focused on space and what's "out there," I've often windered why we haven't done more with the frontiers on earth, such as the unexamined oceans and unchated forests, etc. More than that, we've barely scratched the surface of the frontiers within each of us, and I believe humans are a rich source as yet unappreciated and underused.
As for the cosmos, I'm curious. I believe there are untold dimensions to be explored, but we haven't developed within ourselves sufficiently to perceive this.

I agree humanity is a complex thing, the reason we do not know everything of our own planet has to do with genral interest, & work ethnic. Often one finds that doing the easy thing is what they want to do opposed to a challenge. If we every are to explore all reaches of the earth. you need higher interest groups in oceanography & other odd ball reasearch in comparision to standard fields of study

You could be right. There are some who think we exist in as many as 15 dimensions at the same time but most of us are only aware of one. Space, the final fronteer. I don't think so.
We are becoming aware of and describing worm holes, tears in time and space, who knows whats out there.
Interesting though isn't it
