Hello Pose. Though Easter is not our traditional festival, I wish you and all the others who celebrate it Happy Easter and enjoy it to the full. Have a nice day, my dear friend.

Happy easter to all. I happened to read that the festival is related with rabbit, why and how, could you explain briefly? I am interested in it so that i can explain to my grandson. Thanks in advance.

Hi zhuhuifen, Thank you for responding. The Easter bunny brings eggs to the children at Easter. Many people believe that the bunny came about because Easter is always in the Spring and there is a Pagan celebration at the same time which celebrates the coming of Spring. In that tradition the rabbit represents rebirth and new life , it also fitted in well with the Easter story and so the symbol was adopted by Christians for their Easter festivities.

Thank you very much for the early greeting. Happy Easter to you and to your family as well. My husband is not celebrating this Holiday for they dont believe in this. He is a Japanese and they are Budist, I miss the holidays like this in my native country Philippines. I also miss Christmas and a lot of holidays as well. But i am happy here with my hubby i just miss the traditions and holidays.

Hi koikoikeiji, Thank you for responding and for you greeting. I have great respect for Buddhists and I'm pleased that you are happy there. I can understand however that you would miss the traditions. Since you are happy and content that is all that matters. Blessings.
