Do you ever edit your wallpapers that you find on the internet? Sometimes the ones I find do not fit the screen on my monitor so the wallpaper appears to be stretched. As a result I edit it so that the resolution is better with monitor. What do you do in this case?

I am fond in torrent downloading of pictures in minninova.org for desktop and hi-resolution wall papers. I do not need to edit and resize the wall papers I used for my desktop wallpaper.

I use to have a 17inch monitor as well. The ratio of my desktop is 1.6 and is widescreen so its a kinda odd.

I don't use pictures for my desktop wallpaper anymore. I make a collage of family and friends that is made through Picassa. It looks really good, so now and then I might make another collage. :)

Oh, I never have that many family photos to use so I just readjust wallpapers to the right ratio by adding sidebars.
