Now before a begin this i would like to note that i'm not in favor of either of these religons in fact im non-dinominational, however i do know that this is a sensitive topic and only discussing this to see what others think of some of the research and ideas i have put together i ask that all responce remain intelligent and on the topic. Also please keep the insulting away i just would like to hear from you now on to what I have come across on this topic... The Mormon religon claims that they are a lost section of the Christian faith, however most Christians that are not part of the Mormon faith disagree with this and thus i took upon myself to research this topic and find the similarites and diferences of the two. The Mormon faith believes that if one follows the book of mormon the man and his wives will be in charge of an entire planet for the rest of eternity. (Type of planet is unknown weither it is similar to earth or completely different i have no idea). However the Christian faith does not believe in this, the after life for Christians believe that they will go to heaven (If saved, and saved means that yor have accepted christ as your savor and yo deny any and all other gods but the one and only god) until the opocolips, which will last for seven days if im correct. The first day all saved cristains will rise to heaven all clothes, glasses, shoes, socks, anything they were hold, ect. is left were they stood and their spirit is lifted to heaven and nothing but evil is left including the anti-crist for seven days. Once the seven days are over they return to earth and live in everlasting life as said in the King Jame's version of the holy bible. This is one points that favors The Mormons not being Christian. My final point is the difference is faith, the mormon faith was founded by a man named Joseph Smith (My apologies if i spelt his name wrong) and found found a golden scripture with the Mormon faith engraved onto it. For this he is looked upon as a Prophet, full title, Prophet Joseph Smith. The Christian faith does not reconsize him as a Prophet or anywhere in the religion at all. I think this is the final peice which should solve this debate inside the mind of all logical minds because if two seperate parts of a religion can disagree on a position of someone in the faith then all religions are the same are they not? That would mean Mormons are Cathlics as well i mean does not matter if Marry is a Saint and the Mormon faith does not agree still the same thing right? No, its not there is a difference between Mormons and Cathlics and there is a difference between Mormons and Christians. Tell me what you think, if i miss quoted something or gave incorrect information please message me about it (peacefully)with a link to a non-baised site that will correct me otherwise this remain the same. My final say is there is a difference and different names. I think they names should remain different and not claim to be one another.
Cheers
