Allergies and the tendency to have allergic reactions run in some families. You may have allergies even if they do not run in your family.

allergic response is a type of immune response of our body to any harmless material like food stuffs, dusts, etc. Our body has got its defense mechanisms to fight off various disease causing agents. At times, this defense system by mistake, reacts to harmless substances thinking them as harmful to our body and the allergic reaction begins. Usually anti-allergic medications like Avil or cetirizine would be good enough to heal an allergic response. Hope my response is of some help to you.

I often wonder why allergies have become so prevalent all of a sudden. When I was a kid, no one ever heard of anyone not being able to eat peanut butter. If someone had allergic reactions, they were usually mild and didn't require any medication. You were able to just live with the symptoms. Now, however, allergies seem to be striking everyone, and most people are taking something to try and control their symptoms. What have we done to our world that is causing so many people to feel so miserable?
