if all nations of the world were unified what would happen?

This is kind of a odd thought, what if every nation on the planet was at peace with each other, no nuclear bombs, or starving people. What would this blue world be like? Or would this perfect state not last?

I believe that it would work while the leader was uncorrupted, but put someone who's power driven at the top and it would all corrode.

I (like most) believe that I would be fine in a position like that, but wouldn't want someone else in it as I wouldn't know how they worked. "Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely". There should never be one person in unopposed command of the world.

If this will happen then everyone would be americans. They actually started policing the globe. I mean no offense to americans, its just my observation. Being a unified nation will not happen. Powerful nations will always need 3rd world countries to dump their exports and garbage.

If you havent noticed, yes people are irresponsible, evil, and greedy. so a unified nation is impossible. "also what garbage are we talking about here?" - DUH, YOU asked the question, i merely responded. ahehehe

this type of world would definatly not last. there are always those who are corrupted and power-hungry. they will attempt to turn the tide to favor themselves as the rules of this world. ultimately, this unified nation will once against split into many parts

certainly, it is human nature to have different opinions and therefore clashes will arise

EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD will prevent that for a long long time. There are so many lessons to be learned before a unified world can happen. Alot of safeguards must be put in place as well.

Thank you for your commet, but geeks don't care to rule, normaly they just want better batteries. Some people even just want gudiance not authority. However i agree humanity needs to learn a lot of lessons.

There will always be people to ruin things in a perfect place. Someone isn't always going to have a slice of bread in their pocket for the starving. It look along time to make nukes, I don't think people would et rid of them that quickly. I don't think this could ever happen and if it did, it wouldn't last. But a good idea though.
