Does anybody get their news from a newspaper, internet, comedians, or any other source? I get my news from the internet. It is just more convenient, free, and i can read many stories o just one subject instead of just reading one story. Looking for stories is just too tedious in my opinion compared to just typing something in a search engine and doing a google news search.

Why is Comedians included there? Are comedians in your place broadcast the news? Anyways, I get my news from the internet. Sometimes I watch TV in the evening to watch the daily news.

No, comedians do not broadcast the news where I am from. But I remember a couple years ago about there being polls about how people are getting there news through comedians. For example, some people say they get there news through Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert from the Daily Show and the Colbert Report on Comedy Central. Others have said they get there news from Jay Leno.

To be honest I am a little scared of reading or watching the news....there is usually so much depressing and negative stuff in it that quite frankly I find myself ignoring the news most of the time. Some people say to me "Don't you think you might miss hearing about something really important if you don't watch the news?" my response is, "If it is really important most people around me will be talking about it so I'll get to hear about it anyway."

Yeah that is why I usually do not watch news on television because those stations are all about ratings. And what is the only way to make those ratings go higher? By having stories that are depressing and negative because those stories are a lot more interesting than good stories.

I know what you mean. I do not mean to sound sexist or anything but women do tend to talk a lot more than men do.

I usually get the news from the television and from the internet.. it's more convenient as i just need to turn the television on or my computer on to see what's the latest happenings around the globe.. and yes, it's being offered for free.. =) buying a newspaper isn't practical nowadays.. i'd rather buy something really important than to spend on something that i can have for free..
