it's aromatherapy.I actually love the scent of jasmine and frangipani when I want to de-stress.it soothes my mind and helps me relax.I love putting scented candles in our bathroom.it helps keep our bathroom smell fresh.

There are even lotions on the market that have beneficial scents to help de-stress. I believe peppermint is one of those scents. It's great that you can even find these things cheap as you can get lotion like this at wal*mart. I bought a bottle myself and while I haven't been using it lately it has helped in the past. So yes, I'd have to say that I do use scents to de-stress just not too often.

jennajen26 yes I use Suave's body lotion with vanilla and lavender which smells so relaxing and unstressing., it also works for me.Lavender is very soothing and some people spray lavender onto their pillows for soothing, calming unstressed sleep. they say it really does work well.
