Yes I do enjoy my plants but there also a real health benefit. Since I started keeping then I have never had one cold or even the sniffles:
Common house plants have found to purify indoor air, removing toxic air emissions like ammonia, formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, benzene, xylene and trichloroethytene. Studies have also shown that houseplants can reduce cold-related illnesses.

Hi ya marcia
I have a tiger tree plant, 2 small cacti and a christmas tree seedling that is about it. I am not very good with plants either! I moved my tiger tree plant to another pot and to the other side of the room over Christmas to make room for the Christmas tree but since I have moved it back it has started to lose some of its leaves so I don't think plants like to be moved at all. I must admit that I am not very good with plants as I either forget to water them or I over water them!

Get you a Water gauge it lets you know when to water, I will tell you a secret I use to get paid taking care of plants, in Dr.'s Office Clinic. and Offices. My Boss would tell me to feel how heavy the pot was if it was light you know they need water, if the are heavy they have plenty of water. That is a good way to remember.

Right now I have a lot of plants in the house because my tomato and pepper plants are not in the ground yet. Other than that, I normally have 11 (or so) plants in the house. I like plants and will probably get some more. I just need to find someplace to put them!

I have one inside my apartment and 2 outside. Plants outside are flowering plants, (Amaryllis)and a flowering cactus. The inside plant has just leaves but they are colored leaves. I need to get more soil for my inside plant, probably this weekend. I have had the inside plant since 1996.

I have to say I have no plants in my house. Yet. We usually get them in the spring. I really love flowers. They express your personality. I think they are art. Living art. I like hanging pots of flowers. I usually have those hanging in front of my house.

Ugh I've lost count, a few hundred at least by now. (We started most of our veggies indoors this year).
I like plants. I like animals. I like nature in general.
They are art, true. But everything lovely I have, I have another use for =)
just my personality type.

We only started flowers, a few herbs, and domesticated food plants indoors. We're selling a couple flats worth, and these're gonna be going to people who're gonna keep 'em inside until they can gradually introduce them to the outdoors -- so that they won't die from shock at the moving air that's normal outside.
It's all about the method, and we know what we're doing. Besides, plants breathe in carbon (which we exhale) and breathe out oxygen, that we breathe in...it's a very good relationship, I figure. It's just an issue of taking care of them all and making sure they can handle the outdoors once they get out there.
When it's not pre-crop season, I normally have three or so plants and my Mom has five or so. Tropical plants normally can't be outside in the winter (and they're all adult plants) and some don't care whether or not they're outside during the summer.

Hi
Not even a single. We are living in rented house and earlier we used to live a house where there is enough space for plants. So that time we had many plants. We moved from that house and now we are residing in ground floor and there is not enough ventilation so it is very difficult for plants. If we keep the plants outside for sunlight we may lost the same. [we lost it already]. We have plants to shift house again and may think about plants after that. I love to have plants at home. When I was a kid I had beautiful garden in my native place.

yes, I agree that they can purify the air in daytime. But due to photosynthesis, when in night time, the plants would give out carbon dioxide which is not good for our health, that's why I don't put plants in bedroom, where should be dark when we sleep in, the carbon dioxide cause poor sleeping quality.

I would like to have plants in my house in the future when i actually get a house of my own of course. Now, i just have vases filled with fake flowers and leaves just to make the house look nice. I don't have the space and conditions to take care of realy plants hence the fake plants...Nevertheless, i still like the idea of taking care of plants...^_^
