Many people use a cellphone now. Cellphone is already primary needs. But I try not to depend on the cellphone. How about you?

I actually depend almost fully on either my cellphone or my computer. The thing is I'm a college student so therefore having a landline phone is ridiculous when I already have a cellphone and most of the people I talk to for longer periods of time (family) are on the same phone plan as me so its free minutes. Also, college students do a lot of texting since you don't have to take time to talk to someone, and instead its messaging between the same conversation whenever you have the time throughout the day. I'd rather text than talk anytime - and so I went ahead and got unlimited messaging and that has worked out great.
Also - with the Internet its the same thing. Its all for talking purposes or doing research because society today has built a network that causes you to have to do it.
I don't see how else you wouldn't depend on a cellphone unless you drove everywhere to talk to people or used a landline which is the same thing in all actuality.

Cellphone nowadays is very important most especially during emergency because you can bring it anywhere. It is also good in keeping in touch with your love ones who is miles away from you. Cellphone though i do not consider it as a primary needs but i do believe that this is also needed for emergency purposes.

Cellphone is good for communicating most especially during emergency because you can bring this anywhere you go. So, i believe that we need cellphones. It is one of the way in keeping in touch with our love ones who is miles away from us. E-mail and phones are the fastest way in communicating with them. I believe also that if you call your love ones who is miles away from you can relieve their sadness that's why cellphone for me is important.

Personally, I hate my cell phone, and rarely give my number out. I find it unsettling that people can get in touch with me no matter where I am, or what I'm doing. In many cases, I'd rather not be found when I'm out running errands, but I do keep my cell phone with me in case someone absolutely needs to get a hold of me.
I don't think I rely on my cellie much at all. I use it the same way I use my land line: sparingly. It comes in handy when it;s needed, but feels pointless when it's not, as far as I'm concerned.
