does anyone keep track of the times there kids take there meds if they are on any , i keep track in there medical file because 2 of my children have to take a couple diffrent medacation and a cuople diffrent times a day so i write down when they take it so i dont give them to them to close together, i even keep track of my own because i have a few to take and sometimes i cant remember if i took them or not so i find it easier to write it down.

My son is the only one on any regular medication. I don't really keep track of it though. He only takes it once a day and he takes it first think in the morning before he does anything else, so he does not forget to take it.

Between my two kids, they take 9 meds. I used to write it down, but now just have a schedule. When my son gets up he takes prevacid, pulmicort, and fibersure. My daughter takes fibersure and miralax. After school my son checks his peak flow and I listen to him. Usually he doesn't need anything unless he has a cold. If he does have a cold or has other asthma symptoms, he would take xopenex. At 5:30 my son takes more pulmicort, allegra, and risperdal. At 6:45 my daughter takes singulair, clartin, and melatonin. **Both kids are autistic and have medical issues. My son has severe asthma, allergies and reflux. The allergies and reflux can flare his asthma. As long as all are well medicated, he's a happy kid (of course the anti-psychotic plays a big role here as well!). My daughter will not sleep or consistently use the bathroom which makes for one cranky kid. I also carry a set of Epi-pens for food allergy emergencies as well as severe asthma emergencies.
