Obama's 15,000 thousand dollar pizza party

Obama flew in a pizza chef for a party on friday night. He had tasted the pizza on the campaign trail, and I guess he got a hankerin' for some, so the chef flew from Missouri to D.C. to make 20 pizzas for the POTUS. Now I have heard conflicting stories about who paid for the pizza, but if we had paid for it, including the chef's travel, someone has figured it out these pizzas cost fifteen thousand. And just think, none of us got a slice! The chef said it 'was surreal.' That's putting it lightly, lol. Enough to give taxpayers indigestion.

I'm not sure where you've heard conflicting stories about who paid for the pizza because it's been widely reported and has come from the chef himself that HE paid for it. The chef was coming to D.C. already so his travel had nothing to do with the pizza.

Dang Annie I thought you realized that a lot of people just read Starz to get the political news.
Thank you for the link, what I find amazing is that since this winning was such a suprise to many americans that they will do anything to discredit him including the huge exaggerations. This was the biggest race ever and everything he does is put under the microscope. I wonder when the story is to come that he is wasting money and using to much TP.

It's not like this is anything new. Sadly, stories as simple as these were blown out of proportion and considered true scandals during our last President's tenure.
It's the same players from the same game with simply a different face on the proverbial dart board. At least Obama has liberal media in his corner, however.
If and when a story with true substance breaks, it will be quickly stamped out regardless. But I do agree with the general consensus here: I wanted some pizza! :(

Maybe he should have sent some of that pizza to the American captain being held hostage by pirates right now. Oh, I forgot, Obama is too important to address the situation. He couldn't even take 5 minutes out of his pizza party to call the guy's family.

If he's making over $400,000, more than likely him; I sure wish I got a slice.

Hopefully someone is keeping track of all of these parties, because they are on Obama's nickle not the taxpayers. I think he can get away with charging off those official state dinners, but these "impromptu" things as he calls them are on his bill.

I'm not surprised. Obama hasn't gotten off the campaign trail since he was sworn in, he's always travelling around and having parties. I wonder who is running the government?

ok the chef paid for everything and the Captain isnt in the military it was a "flagged ship" in other words he's a captain of a ship thats reg. to the US yea we're suppose to go and get him but do u think the pres is gonna tell u he as a black ops mission planned to go get him? i think not.he's doin what he can but in all reality if he says what hes gonna do then they'll prolly kill him and leave before we have the chance to do it.. i was special forces when i was in the marines we dont know stuff til like 3 days before we do it some times..but obama is better than bush thats for sure..

This is ridiculous. Even worse if the taxpayers paid for it. Here we are talking about the shape the economy is in and the president does this. I would definitely want to find out who paid for this pizza party. And I am saying if the taxpayers paid for this that is abusive use of the taxpayers money.

Well I think all of our presidents have done idiotic things, so if he left the bill to the tax payers, I suppose President Obama is right up there with the rest of them.
But think about this, the pizza's may not have cost a thing. Seriously, if you were a shift, invited to come to the white house or whatever, to make pizza for the president, wouldn't you go do it?? I would, and not charge, hell, the publicity is going to make this chef famous. And he knows this!!
